Medical Expertise Leads the Way

Dr. Franz Hoskins, a board certified anesthesiologist, has served as the AOSC medical director for eight years. He has been a clinical professor of Anesthesia at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and was the Chief of Anesthesia at Glendale Memorial Hospital for five years. Dr. Hoskins is a graduate of the University of Washington Medical School.

Dr. Patrick Raymond, a board certified anesthesiologist, has been on staff at AOSC since 2002 and has been co-medical director since November 2004. He has been on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles since 1987, including 10 years of cardiac experience and department chairmanship. Dr. Raymond is a graduate of Ohio State University Medical School.

Clinical Staff

The clinical staff consists of RN’s, all licensed by the state with CPR and ACLS. The majority of the nursing personnel have their PALS certification, as well. The center also has surgical techs who are CPR certified. All clinical staff members have extensive experience and expertise in their area of care. This experience is complemented with continuing education, in-services, performance appraisals and competency verifications. Surgeons have relied on AOSC’s exceptional healthcare services for more than 30 years. Our supportive staff is dedicated to safe and compassionate patient care.
